The Analog Terminal Adapter (ATA) enhances desktop users' productivity by
providing simultaneous use of their M3900 series phone and analog device.
Enterprise customers can benefit from the ATA, which provides a convenient
economical direct analog connection between the M3900 series phone
(M3902, M3903, M3904, M3905) and analog devices such as a laptop or PC
modem, fax machine, 500/2500 telephone or variety of off-the-shelf audio-
and visual-alerting devices.
Supporting simultaneous modem connection rates up to 33.6 kbps* the
analog device can be located up to 300 ft. from the digital telephone
equipped with an ATA (the digital telephone can be located up to 3,500 ft.
from the Meridian 1).
Maximum modem rate is subject to the quality of the end-to-end channel
and cannot be guaranteed.
