How do I use my ISDN features?

ISDN is a flexible service which can be configured with many of the features you use with your traditional phone. These features always require activation codes like your traditional phone features, however they may be different depending on the type of BellSouth Central Office that provides your ISDN service.

Please refer to the brochure provided to you when your service was installed or the one you received in the mail to confirm your Central Office Equipment type. If you are unable to locate either of these documents, please call 1-800-858-9413.

Caller ID (number delivery) is provided on your ISDN line. Displaying the Caller ID information is a function of your equipment. Some ISDN equipment provides a built-in display. Other ISDN equipment may require a separate Caller ID display unit. Please see your equipment manual for additional information.

The activation of some features is dependent upon the type of switch at the ISDN provider location.

Please refer to the brochure left with you at the time of installation or the brochure mailed to you for your switch type. If you cannot locate either of these documents, please call 1-800-858-9413.
