Speed Dial

In an emergency, dialing a number quickly can really mean the difference. AT&T offers a service called Speed Dial for a small monthly charge. Speed Dial lets you reach a phone number by dialing one or two digits. It's a network-based service and can be used with all types of telephone equipment, including TTYs. You can program your telephone line so that the numbers for emergency services, or your friends and family, can be reached quickly. (Long distance calls will incur long distance charges.)
