Talking Caller ID announces callers by name or number over a built-in speaker before you answer the phone. The CW9900 unit lets you screen incoming calls-even from other rooms- and identifies all incoming calls, including those on call waiting. Talking Caller ID also lets you record individual messages for specific callers. You can record names for frequent callers any way you want to ("it's Mom & Dad", "It's Daycare", etc.) The unit, a product of ClassCo, works with Caller ID* on Call Waiting or Call Waiting Deluxe service.

* Customers in some areas can block their names and telephone numbers from being sent to Caller ID customers, so calling names and numbers may not be displayed or announced. Names displayed or announced are from company records. Instructions on installing are available on tape if requested.
