Springhouse Golf Club is one of a select number of golf courses in the United States to be a member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program.

Second-round leaders continue to enjoy success at the Tournament. Sammy Rachels became the 7th player in 8 Tournaments to win after leading or being tied for the lead after 36 holes. The only player who did not win was Dave Stockton in 1994.

Sammy Rachels' 2001 closing score of 63 was his best as a Professional.
