FIELD FOR THE 2000 BELLSOUTH SENIOR CLASSIC AT OPRYLAND
INCLUDES ALL PREVIOUS CHAMPIONS OF TOURNAMENT AND
TOP 12 MONEY WINNERS ON 1999 SENIOR TOUR
NASHVILLE,
TN., May 25, 2000 - The final field for the 2000
BellSouth Senior Classic at Opryland, held May 28-June
4, includes all of the tournaments previous champions
as well as the top 12 money winners on the 1999 SENIOR
TOUR.
The
previous tournament champions include:

The
BellSouth Senior Classic at Opryland, with a $1.5
million purse and live ABC television coverage of
its two final rounds, is considered a premier stop
on the Senior PGA TOUR.
In
its first six years, the BellSouth Senior Classic
at Opryland has raised more than $1 million for Tennessee
charities. This year's beneficiaries are Vanderbilt
Children's Hospital, Family & Children's Service,
Boy Scouts of America, The First Tee and Tennessee
Lions Charities.
