CHI CHI RODRIGUEZ TO PLAY BELLSOUTH SENIOR CLASSIC
NASHVILLE,
Tenn. - May 23, 2002 - Fan favorite Chi Chi Rodriguez
has committed to play in the BellSouth Senior Classic
at Gaylord Opryland, making this his first visit to
the Music City tournament since 1997. Rodriguez joins
the list of 68 others who have committed to play in
the 2002 BellSouth Senior Classic at Gaylord Opryland.
The 2002 tournament is scheduled for June 9 -16, with
the final round taking place on Father's Day.
A
native of Puerto Rico, Rodriguez has claimed eight victories
on the PGA TOUR and 22 on the SENIOR PGA TOUR, including
the 1986 FORD SENIOR Players Championship (formerly
known as the Senior Tournament Players Championship)
and the 1987 Senior PGA Championship (formerly known
