Wrap-Up - BellSouth Senior Classic

Jay
Sigel shot a 2-under round of 70 to continue his hold over
the rest of the field in the 9th BellSouth Senior Classic
at Gaylord Opryland. His 134 total gives him only a one shot
lead over last week's Senior Open winner Fuzzy Zoeller and
the 1997 BellSouth Senior Classic winner Gil Morgan, both
shooting a 4-under 68.
A
total of 35 players are within 5 shots of the lead.
Low
round of the day goes to1999 Champion Bruce Fleisher with
an 8-under 64.
In
the Georgia Pacific Super Seniors competition, Charles Coody
and Dave Stockton fought to a 2-day total of 139 and were
forced to play a sudden-death hole at the par 4 18th. Dave
Stockton's drive found the water. This allowed Coody to par
the 431-yard finishing hole to secure the $39,999 first place
check. Stockton's runner-up check was for $28,000.
